Mods I download dont show up in game? - posted in Fallout 4 Mod Troubleshooting: Hello, Havent been able to mod/play fallout 4 in a few months, but I already had some mods on there and came back today and tried some new mods, but I noticed nothing really applied to the game? I use NMM and make sure I activate them and check the requirements for the mods and I have all of them, but only one Fallout 4 still doesn't have QUITE the right mix of mods for me (outfit and Automatron options in particular are something I'd love to find more of), so I'm happy to check out other sites if anyone could direct me to them. Have you guys tried to download the mod manually then use NMM to install from archive? It works like the "Download With Manager" but, it install from the rar or 7z archive you have locally. Yes you can, but if you enable direct downloading of mods from Nexus to Vortex, then when you try to download to Fallout 4 it assumes you want to use Vortex AND then direct download the Skyrim it is still assuming you are using Vortex. So I suggest you do not use the direct download feature to Vortex.
